Who doesn’t find nature beautiful? Maybe psychopaths, I don’t know…

Anyway, out of these, the lightning shots are definitely my favourite. It was my first attempt at capturing lightning, and it worked to my benefit in almost every way. It was very humid, but it wasn’t actually raining where I was standing (in the field behind my apartment), and the bolts were long-lasting and very frequent.

I set the camera up to shoot every second, and stood back to deal with the mosquitos. I don’t think I’ll get such a great opportunity ever again, it was perfect (other than the bugs, of course).
